And I need hugs! Today is not off to a good start. I need to deal with some unpleasant business this morning, for in the mail BW brought home last night there was a very rude medical bill from last summer, from a doctor's office that obviously never submitted it to my insurance (nor did they ever communicate with me about it in any way until now), and that's $1,215 more than it should be! Gee, happy birthday to me! >:-( The bill (and the timing) are bad enough, but this is a doctor's office I never wanted to have anything more to do with, so I'm not looking forward to having to deal with them. I hope to get it straightened out to my satisfaction quickly, easily and EARLY, so I can start enjoying my day. In the meantime, I fear this is about all the enthusiasm for celebrating I can muster...

Okay, now it's evening so I thought I'd write a quick update. Got that stupid bill straightened out quickly, easily and early as I'd hoped (the staggering incompetence that was behind the billing snafu, however, was beyond my powers to rectify!) So, since I enjoyed a happy outcome that was followed by a happier birthday...Let us celebrate the occasion with wine and sweet words. ~Plautus (I'll provide the wine!) ;-)
